What can you do when you get a Charlie horse six miles from home?

Have your riding buddy get in front and pull for you, that’s what.

It was super windy. We were on the last 10 miles and it hit me: a killer cramp in my right calf. I toughed it out a few more miles, but then my dad had to go up front.
Good news; I know there were stretches we hit or passed 20mph, and that’s not including the downhills.

One thing I’ve learned; I really don’t know how to handle group rides. Whenever I see someone on my tail, even if they are supposed to be there, I go into race mode and book it….
