My reaction upon finding my bike stashed in the closet. I can’t exactly go for a ride with it put up way over there. Ugh.
I might be getting a little bored of the beach.
But I’m loving the company. Haha… Wow. Anyway. I need to get back home and back to training. I can feel myself slipping out of shape.
Same time as my last one, but my run and bike were faster. The swim was much slower
#i hate ocean swims
Anyway, currently having issues because I love my triathlon/cycling tan lines, but at the same time I’m crazy self conscious about them, and running around in a bikini is not my cup of tea. :/
Race report to come. Lolz. I have stories about this one.
I just wanted to share with you all the crazy, nasty, tangled mess that was my hair after the race. It took me 45 min in the shower with conditioner to get all taken care of. :/
And for comparison:
My hair is naturally straight and my pony tail typically goes to the bottom of my sports bra…
Vegetarian day one
So far loving it. :)
We’ll see how it goes from here
I’ve wanted to go vegetarian for a while, but I just kept putting it off.
I don’t know how these people function.
Yesterday at dinner my madre proudly remarked that she only had two apples, a granola bar, and a protein shake all day. But then she was a bad girl and got a brownie. So then she went and ran four miles to try to burn it off. Her dinner was also a tiny portion.
She then congratulated my little sister on losing weight and her diet- she’s a collegiate swimmer and it was the off season. She didn’t technically have to lose weight.
And if I hear her complain one more time about how my dad is fat (he’s not. Not at ALL) I’m probably going to scream.
She’s a walking, talking, 5’8” thinspo blog.
Oh yeah, when I told her she needed to eat more if she wanted to run like that, she went crazy and nearly bit my head off
“I don’t have TIME to eat! You don’t know my life!”
Excuse me, I think I just finished four weeks of college hell in which I went to class eight hours a day, worked out, and studied until the wee hours of the morning. Guess what? I made time for FOUR meals a day. It isn’t impossible.
Also, she insinuated that my sleeping all day and eating a bigger dinner than her would make me fat.
1) no, it won’t
2) I am sick. Little kidney infection, you know, that thing? I’m supposed to make sure I get proper nutrition and rest while trying to fight that off. Gah.
3) just because you’re broken doesn’t mean I am. Leave me alone.
How does her body even function??
It was great bonding time
We also don’t want this race to happen tomorrow. It won’t be pretty. #WetandCold
