I love zooming around on my bike. Nothing better than tucking and pushing it. The feel of the wind. The scenery slipping by. The sensation in my muscles of every motion.

I need these because of reasons.
I don’t need cleats.
I just need pedals for my road bike. I really just need them before road cycling season starts up. I’ll be doing races pretty much every other weekend or so, alternating between triathlons and road races. Moving my pedals from bike to bike will be a major pain. D:
I keep bidding on things on eBay, but I always get outbid and things go way over my price limit. Curse you, college budget.
Sigh.
Maybe I can talk Santa Clause into putting some in my stocking this year?

This was fun.
The only thing was that I was the only woman on the road, and for some reason every man on the road had almost my exact jersey, but where mine is pink theirs were blue.
It was strange.
I like and hate the looks I get form the other cyclist. They range from the simple ‘cyclist nod’ to the ‘AWWW LOOK! A LITTLE GIRL IS OUT ON THE ROAD! HOW ADORABLE!’
Today I did something kinda cool. One of the groups that gave me the second kind of look was ahead of me by about two miles when I managed to catch sight of them. I powered past them and then BOOM! Yeah. I finished my ride and got to my car and had a good five min before they caught up to me. Oh yeah. I feel special.
BTW: My legs feel like rubber. I know that isn’t a long ride, but the climb is “a total ascent of 656.17 ft and has a maximum elevation of 754.59 ft. ”
