Constant sneezing for the next 8 hours
Really. It sucks. I also hate running indoors.
I just failed at running a 5k. 25 min, 20 seconds of pure pain and hell. Blarg this isn’t fair. It’s frustrating and I’m beyond displeased with myself.
My best 5k is just at 24 min. I think it’s around a 24:11. That was also after I swam half a mile and biked somewhere in the ballpark of 14. (p. s. i can normally do a 25min 5k no problem, only some discomfort) my best 10k is 51 min. I couldn’t have done that if I tried today- also that run was on a beach after a .9 mi ocean swim and a 40km bike.
Can I only pr a run in a Tri? Really?
Another thing about being out of shape, it hurts to ride. I went to my normal ride yesterday. It hurt so bad. Normally I can do it twice no problem. I did about 75% and then just couldn’t keep moving. I wasn’t even pushing my pace! It also felt odd actually moving, which was the worst. It was as if it was the first time on it again.
I just wish the downpour outside would stop so I could run in open air. Treadmills suck.
At least I got in an easy ride this morning. So much for this being a nothing day. :]
I’ve got two A races in the next 10 months, and they are thankfully fairly far apart. If anyone’s wondering they’re Agusta GA 70.3 and Collegiate Nationals.
So yeah. Time to pull out my massive calendar! D:
