I just had a killer workout in the gym. It’s the first time I’ve been to a spin class in I don’t know how long. I’ve got a few rules about spin classes, just to keep myself motivated. They’re always a lower body workout, on top of cardio. I keep the resistance and cadence high. I seriously love when my friends hop on my bike when I have it set for the hardest part of the class and can’t pedal… Tee hee. Anyway, my legs were shaking when I finished and it was fantastic. Then I did some lunges, squats, and other general things after cooling down for a moment. YAY GYM TIMES! It was fantastic. ALSO! I got some pretty sweet music from the class that I plan to use on my 16 mi run this weekend. :]
Here’s a picture of my face because I love how I feel after a good workout and I was playing around with the webcam after getting all cleaned up. :]

After the season ends I’m going to really start up on my weights. I haven’t made any real progress with them in a few weeks. So yeah. Must fix!
Woot! Everything starts in a month! :’D
With your heart set on successfully completing the triathlon, your main area of focus will slide towards engaging in strenuous workouts and practicing transition runs (T-runs) so that you are well equipped to switch from swimming to biking and finally to running in the last leg of the race. With such an intense and demanding schedule planned out, triathletes often overlook core exercises. Truth be told, triathletes who incorporate core exercises into their workouts are a force to be reckoned with. Practicing core exercises for triathletes builds up your core strength and fine tunes your body’s sense of balance and stabilization. With core exercises your body can perform more efficiently, and is also less prone to injuries.
